June 12th

5am came all to quick this morning. I was up late hangin' out with mommas. Jack woke up 4:58am so I shut off my alarm clock and laid down with him. I quickly realized I would fall back asleep so I did the tuck-the-blanket-around-him, shove a pillow close by ninja move and headed to the shower. A shower is what i needed. I was out the door on time and ready to work out.

The Warm up- While the group did their thing with 2 good feet - I rowed 500m... We practiced wall balls for the skill drill and then went to the WOD.

x3    =134 (crossfit math)   137 = (at home and rested math)

I thought I was a super hero and did 26lb kettle bell for the push press which was my downfall. I couldn't get my heart out of my throat for the rest of the workout. Seriously... at 15minutes after the workout I checked my heart rate and it was still in the 120s/min. 25 minutes later is was back to normal. lesson learned... pick up the 18lb kettle bell for the moment... You can always go up, but recovering quickly is next to difficult.

The morning was filled with friends and thrift shopping. Score big this morning! Afternoon was the fridge repair dude telling me I have to wait at least a day. The evening is a moms night out.. again...
