Day 1 - Bruises. Pain. Swelling disbelief that it happened.
Day 2 - A run to Earth Fare for healthy stuff and then a day of propping the foot.
Day 3 - Crossfit Bootcamp, Truth Sets in Doc Says it's Broken/ Fractured. Boot acquired. Watch my friends practice Transitions without me (Swim, Bike Run) Then a Brick (Bike, Run- see I'm learning what all these words mean!). I took pictures of others and tried to remain engaged but frustrated.
Day 4- Thighs sore from Crossfit Boot Camp Air Squats, Boot Heavy. Took the kids to Harmony Park Safari but the little walking we did was tough. Rested for the afternoon & evening.
Day 5 - The night was rough. Toe achy with spasms of pain. Morning was not good. Tried to get ready for Crossfit Boot Camp and it wasn't happening. 15 minutes in getting ready and I crawled back into bed, propped the foot. Ugh. So frustrated at the moment. I realize it will take time to heal. I want it to heal properly and quickly so that I can move on. This knowledge does not limit the frustration. I feel like I'm taking 10 steps back from where I was going. I haven't take anything for pain yet. I don't want to take it and then not be aware if I do hurt it more. No masking here.... We'll see how good of a decision that is later on today. :-)
