4 Days To GO!

I'm Back! I had a wonderful weekend at Food & Wine in New Orleans this weekend. May not have been the best plan for training but totally worth it as a break!

2000-2500 steps = 1 mile

Thursday - There was no swimming or running as planned. I did walk over 10 000 steps through out the day though. I was moving... It was called park play and shopping!

Friday - Even with almost 8 hours in the car, we managed over 15 000 steps. We drove to New Orleans, hit up the French Quarter & A Great Evening at the New Orleans Food & Wine http://www.nowfe.com/ .

Saturday - It was walking walking and more walking... then eating... lots of eating! Over 19 000 Steps. We went to the Grand Tasting (YUM!) and the Wicked!

Sunday - Our last day was going to be relaxing... and it was... but we walked! We walk almost 22 000 steps. This included a drive out to a Swamp Tour and Back. We literally hit the streets!

Monday - Drive back home and rest......

Tuesday - Rest Morning & Afternoon and then I have my Tri 101 class. I'll let you know how that goes!

GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

My afternoon was pretty good. The kids were good, I got somethings done that were needing to get done. THEN I went to get my bike in the car and notice my tires were flat.
Me: Hey Guys, Do you know what happened to Mommy's bike tires?
Lizzie: I helped you!
Me: What did you do?
Lizzie: I fixed it!
Me: How?
Lizzie: I just twisted this and pressed it. It made a cool sound!

Needless to say, that took some time.

Once I got the car loaded up it was time to get supper ready. Well, I was behind. I left the house late and then got stuck in traffic. I literally walked into the pool at 5:30pm. I stripped (thank goodness I thought to put my swimsuit on at home), shared my issues and fears with my swim coach and got in the water.

It was cold.

It felt good.

The swim practice was good but I had to pee. Seriously.... And holding it in the pool was tough! Alas, I got the hour done and jumped in the car and headed to Training. Accept I realized I forgot my reflective vest. so... a quick detour to the store to pick one up... At which point, I realized I had my shorts on inside out. Classy....

I pulled into the parking lot for training at 6:00pm.. ran my bike to the group... In which I realized I forgot my ID (riding on the arsenal), forgot my helmet... Did I mention I was the last one to park so I was on the farthest end of the parking lot?

Finally got my gear on and ready (missed the Team Rocket Tri Club Chat) and we headed out.. except I cut in front of a few other bikers... seriously... just couldn't get my balance... maybe it was the full bladder?

We knocked out 45 minutes on the bike. I had a great time chattin' and riding. The air smelled great! Other than my left foot numbing, it was good. I guess I'll need to invest shoes.

I finally was able to potty! and then it was a 16 minute run. I will admit I walked 1/2 way.  I was tired and the honest side... I need a new bra. I've lost enough weight that this needs to happen pronto. Enough Said? OUCH.

I had a time afterwards chatting with new friends and came home.

It was a good day...
