I feel like I need to make sure who ever I'm talking to KNOWS that this is a baby of baby triathlons.
200m Swim 8m Bike 2m Run. Baby.... Ironman (which one would aspire to do) is 2.4 MILE swim, 112 MILE Bike 26.2 MILE Run... I'm basically doing the equivalent of a fetal triathlon. This baby just started it's heart beat.
I'm a ball of nerves all day. I manage to get in the pool and swim 10 minutes... my 200meters... OMG.. I'm in trouble. While I feel like I'm breathing better, thanks to my swim lesson on Tuesday, I was still struggling to catch my breath after every 25m/length of the pool. I got it done though... so I know I can do it. Just have to keep MY Pace.... I did not do any running or biking as the day was filled with errands and fun. My passport application came back thanks to my trusting the Target Photographer who told me she's done a million Canadian Passport photos this year.... If she's forgotten to stamp and date the back I'm guessing she's screwed $97 x a million unhappy Canadians....... well... a lot of unhappy Canadians. Anywho- that was priority one today. The highlight was picking up my packet for race day... did I mention that was tomorrow? The dude was 30 minutes late - which threw our evening off. What it did do was give me 30 minutes of hearing other people express how nervous they are. At least we are all in the same boat.... However, I'm pretty sure I'm sitting next to the hole allowing the water to funnel in......
The evening was filled with live music at Lowe Mills, Friends and watching my kids have a great time! I walked my 11000 steps today... so add my baby swim and I feel like I got some exercise in today.
It's 11:30pm at the moment and I must get up at 4:30am to get myself and the rest of the family in the car.
Wish me luck!
