Just Keep Swimming!



I had to say this to myself over and over during today's group swim lesson. Between being out of shape and lacking skill in the swim department, I was struggling. I forgot to breathe. I got choked on water. I got tired. I've got to get in the water more often! 



I'm feeling like I need to just MOVE!  

Overall, I felt like the class went well. I was nervous going into it. We split up and individualized the training so that helped. Then we got out of the pool and practiced jumping in (OMG The NERVES!), kicking off the side and then swimming down and back touching the wall. That was hard work. I was exhausted. I did what I could and make it. I didn't want to cheat myself of training time but I didn't want to drown either.

I find I have a hard time not cheering for the others! If they do something "right" I hear a hoot and holler come from my lips before I can stop it! So Sorry for those who don't appreciate my overenthusiastic nature. This is been a person journey for me- trying something new and sticking with it... I'm just excited at each success point! No matter who has the success!
