Tuesday 4.23.13 Food and Other Such Nonsense

The day started out like most. Hear Scott leave for work, get the kids milk, look at the calendar for the day and make breakfast.  15 minutes into the day I knew the plan had to change. Jack was coughing. Lizzie had a sore tummy. I'm not really sure what the deal was but I knew we needed to have a rest/health day here. So we did. My plans to work out didn't pan out I did manage to do a lot of reading, thinking and replanning the next month.

This is what I ate today. It's not near enough (at least not in my eyes). I should at least add a couple more cups of veggies. However, I'm feeling water logged so I think I'll pass for today. 

100oz of water
1/2 cup refried beans
2 apples & 2 tbsp almond butter
3 cups of coffee 1 tbsp heavy cream
2 pieces of red licorice
Cobb Salad from Steak Out (no salad dressing or mushrooms)

10pm - banana

I took advantage of the down time and looked at the Fleet Feet Race Calendar (finally!).  My mind is mystified on how to pick which races you want to do. There are so many!
